Sustainability in design thought has recently received a lot of attention, yet it is a time tested and established process that has been practiced throughout history. Our designs have always focused on being cognizant of environmental needs. These have been included and processed into the design to the extent possible based on client needs and budgets. Abbas believes in economical design that keeps in mind the client brief and function, along with project economics and material choices in terms of cost as well as quantum of material used. Abbas is an accredited LEED AP BD+C professional, that can help also help clients who might consider pursuing the LEED certification for their buildings. While with a previous employer, he also chaired the Sustainable Design committee at that office.
