Dezines Inc.

Dezines Inc. is a Leawood, Kansas (Kansas City Metro Area) based design consultancy that covers the gamut of Architecture, Interior Design, Planning and Sustainable Design Abbas Haideri, AIA, LEED AP BD+C.

Its roots however go back to 1991, when Abbas began practicing as an Architect and Interior Designer in Ahmedabad, India after graduating from the School of Architecture, CEPT, Ahmedabad. Armed with a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from the School of Architecture, CEPT, Ahmedabad in 1993, Urban Planning was added as another area of practice. Abbas’s quest for more knowledge and international exposure, brought him to the University of Kansas in Lawrence, where he completed another Master’s in Urban Planning in 1996, with a focus on Landuse and Environmental Planning.

In the last 20 years, Abbas has worked or consulted with various Architectural companies in USA, Dubai, and India, on projects in India, the Middle East and America (including Canada and Mexico).

Abbas possesses experience in various markets, including Commercial, Retail and Malls, Entertainment and Cinemas, single family and multi-family Residential, hospitality, and healthcare. He has been a leading member of the design team on various urban planning concepts for new townships and resorts.

Abbas has worked in various capacities ranging from Owner/Principal in his firm, to Associate, Project Manager, Project Architect and Project designer as needed in other firms. Some of the projects shown in the portfolio were produced in the course of employment with other architects.
